The BQ Girls

Wendy Fitzwilliam, Haley Seibert, Chelsey Cooley and Yi Na

The BQ Girls were created by Dr. A.T. Dunn, who wanted to fill the hole left by the major girl groups of the 1990s and early 2000s with an ensemble formed entirely of beauty queens. He brought Chelsea Cooley, Miss USA 2005, with Wendy Fitzwilliam, Miss Universe 1998 from Trinidad & Tobago to discuss the idea. Soon after, the group was born after they discovered Haley Seibert (first runner-up to Miss Iowa Teen USA 2012) and Yi Na (winner of Miss Talent and the third runnder-up to Miss Universe China 2011). It's a sensational combination of different generations, backgrounds and styles--literally all the corners of Donald Trump's Miss Universe franchise brought together to combine their singing, dancing and creative talents.

The BQ Girls already have three singles in the pipeline, including their debut "Runway," which will land on iTunes soon. They've received enormous press coverage, including a full feature in this weekend's Trinidad Express, and will announce concert/tour dates shortly. The group is also planning to return to its roots by bidding to perform at Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas.

The girls would love to keep in touch with the Missosology community through their official Twitter at https://twitter.com/officialbqgirls and their official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BQGirls, where fans will get real-time updates and behind-the-scenes photos of the BQ Girls.
