Miss America 2012 is Wisconsin-Laura Kaepeller!


The 91st edition of Miss America Pageant is held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada where the 23-year old Laura Kaepeller hailing from Wisconsin was crowned as Miss America 2012. She was crowned by Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan from Nebraska. *Complete Results below

The event was aired live by ABC. All 50 states of the USA along with District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico competed for the title and crown. For the second time in a row, Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke hosted the pageant.

Laura didn't just win the title and crown but also a scholarship from Miss America Organization. Miss America pageant is a scholarship pageant where the winner receives scholarships.
