26-year old Sahar Biniaz from Vancouver BC won the Miss Universe Canada 2012 title and crown! She will represent her country at Miss Universe 2012 this December. 1st Runner Up is Adwoa Yamoah who might represent Canada at Miss International 2012.2nd to 4th Runner up are Majd Soudi, Katie Starke and Kesiah Papasin. Despite of being the first transgender contestant at a all-female beauty contest, Jenna Talackova made it to the Top 12 and won the Miss Congeniality award with a 4-way tie! Other Top 12 finalists are Chelsea Bird, Dajana Radovanovic, Ines Kipre, Maria Julia Nahri, Sarah Harrison and Suzette Hernandez.

Sahar joined several international beauty pageants before. She was 1st Runner up at Miss Global Beauty Queen 2003 and 2nd Runner Up at Miss Tourism Queen International 2008. She was also first runner up at Miss Universe Canada 2008.
