22-year old Fernanda coveted the 51st Miss International 2011 crown in Chengdu, China. She was crowned by Miss International 2010 Venezuela`s Elizabeth Mosquera. It`s the first time that Ecuador won an international crown and title not only that a major international crown and title. She also won Miss Stature award. 1st Runner Ups to 4th are Venezuela`s Jessica Barboza, Mongolia`s Tugsuu Idersaikhan, Puerto Rico`s Desiree del Rio and Panama`s Keity Mendieta. Completing the Top 15 are Brazil, Latvia, Lebanon, Netherlands, Philippines, Russia, Sweden, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vietnam
