19-year old, half-Tanzanian and Russian, Nelly Kamwellu is dubbed as the most persevering ans persistent girl in the pageant industry this 2011. Considering the fact that she competed at Miss Universe 2011 and Miss Earth 2011, Miss International 2011 but she ended unplaced. Despite of all these, she never surrendered and she surprisingly competed at Miss Tourism Queen International 2011 held at China on December 27, 2011 where she finished 5th/4th Runner Up. She eventually became an universal topic on pageant forums.
Nelly defeated other 87 girls vying for the crown. The winner is Thailand's Kantapat Peeradachainarin who also competed at Miss International 2011 in China and she ended up as one of the Top 15 semifinalist and won the Best in National Costume Award.
